Come on down for a chat with the teacher

Parents/aiga/families from our Aoga please come on down for a chat with the Teachers.  We will be available the whole week from 8.30am – 3.30pm starting on Tuesday 28/10/14 - Friday 31/10/14.

Please make yourself available to come and discuss your child’s learning and development with the teachers. 

Also don't forget to bring along a family photo to display on our Centre Planning wall for our monthly theme: 
Family and Community.

Tuvaluan language Week

Talofa! We are so excited to celebrate Tuvaluan Language week.  Today our very own teacher Faitalia who is from Tuvalu taught the Aoga children a Tuvaluan dance and also showed us some Tuvaluan costumes.  Check out all the fun we had today. Choohooo.

Motat 2014

The forecast for the day was, lots of grey cloud and rain, rain and more rain!  Yes the weather wasn't the nicest of days but that didn't dampen our spirits because we were really excited about going to Motat to learn about Wheels.  Please click here to see our photos of our fantastic trip.

Congratulations Lealofisa Setefano (QSM)

Service to the community and Pasifika education.

Cook Island language week in GI

Kia Orana! For cook island language week we visited our local library where our local cook island people were sharing their knowledge about the beautiful art form of Tivaevae. We saw beautiful bold colours of images of the pacific in the tivaevae like flowers, leaves and breadfruit. MEITAKI MA'ATA!! to all the mama's and papa's for sharing your beautiful language and culture with us! It was a very uplifting, warm and inspiring experience! Fa'afetai tele lava!

Commonwealth games

Commonwealth games! What an awesome week we've had! Our children have been very busy competing in different sporting events such as, weightlifting, high jump, long jump, cycling, racing, shot putt just to name a few. We closed our games with a awards ceremony. Check out our youngest competitor Immy wearing her medals! Malo le taumafai tamaiiti!
