Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori - Maori Langugae Week

Aoga have celebrated Maori Langugae over the last 2 weeks. We have enjoyed learning new words and pharses and new songs!

We were lucky enough to have one of our mothers Mel Hoto come and show us how to make Maori fry bread.

Mel showed us how to cook Maori bread in the oven. Our children watched Mel knead the dough.

Then we helped Mel make another batch to fry! Hhhmmm YUM!
Thank you Mel for coming into the centre and making Maori fry bread with us!

The Transition children also learnt parts of the body in Maori!
We throughly enjoyed learning Te Reo this week!!
Ka Pai Tamariki!!
